Short Film Script - A Journey Without End
I woke up at 7:45 a.m. in my high-rise Chicago hotel room to dead silence. The TV I had left on was off. I peered into the corridor. It was empty and quiet, not even a housekeeping cart or a single sound. I repeatedly dialed the desk. No one answered.
After a quick shower, I dressed, grabbed my single suitcase and clothesbag, and hurried to the empty elevator, heading to the lobby.
The elevator door opened to an empty lobby, roaring silence, and a descending pall. It only got worse.
